About
The festival's main highlights are the ginseng digging experience and the red ginseng pork samgyeopsal feast, along with performances, exhibitions, and hands-on programs themed around ginseng and red ginseng pork. Opening ceremony performances and cultural events include an open-air concert, the Ginseng Valley Choir Festival, and the Ginseng Valley Military Band Concert. Competitions round out the program, from the International Youth Festival and Ginseng Wrestling Championship to the Ginseng Valley Song Contest, Jeungpyeong Ginseng Children's Drawing Contest, and the Baekgok Kim Deuk-sin Writing Contest. There are also various other exhibitions and hands-on activities for visitors to enjoy.
