About
The 2026 Yeoju Ogok Naru Festival is a traditional culture festival based on the historical background of Yeoju's local specialties, such as rice and sweet potatoes, once being presented to the king via the Jopo Ferry during the Joseon Dynasty. Main programs include a tribute parade, cauldron-cooked Yeoju rice bibimbap, a roasted sweet potato Guinness challenge, a wishing path, and a traditional fire-flower show (nakhwa-nori). Visitors can also enjoy local product sales, food stalls, traditional culture experiences, and performances. At the festival grounds, you can find a variety of agricultural specialties produced in Yeoju, along with hands-on traditional culture experiences, performances, and family-friendly programs. After sunset, nighttime programs like the fire-flower show create a different festival atmosphere from daytime. Under the autumn sky, visitors can enjoy Yeoju's excellent local produce, traditional culture, and a rich variety of experiences and sights, taking in the full flavor of autumn.
