About
The Yeoncheon Job's Tears Festival celebrates yulmu (Job's tears), Yeoncheon County's signature crop, along with a range of the region's clean, locally grown food. It brings together and sells yulmu and other farm specialties, all carefully grown using fertile land in the south and clean water from the north of the county. Alongside the farm goods for sale, the festival grounds host hands-on farming culture experiences, exhibitions, performances, and local food stalls. The event is designed to showcase the value of local agriculture and the quality of these specialty products, letting visitors soak up the atmosphere of a country market and local culture at the same time. By connecting producers directly with visitors, it builds trust in local farm products and helps spread Yeoncheon's clean, eco-friendly image and agricultural strengths.
