About
The 2026 Nowon Outdoor Library 'Romantic Promise' is a reading-culture event held outdoors under the theme 'In the Age of AI, It's Still People.' With AI and algorithms now woven into everyday life, the event focuses on how books can still bring people together to meet and talk. An outdoor bookshelf curated by librarians is set up at the venue, along with cozy reading spots with beanbags and camping chairs. Visitors can browse books freely outdoors throughout the event, and there are also book concerts and humanities lectures centered on books and people. By combining a book exhibition, reading spaces, and performances and talks all in one outdoor venue, the festival gives citizens many different ways to experience books and culture.
