About
The 2026 Ulsan Industrial Festival runs from Thursday, October 8 to Sunday, October 11 at the riverside area of Taehwagang National Garden in Nam-gu, under the theme "AX Transformation, All In Ulsan." It opens with a ceremony weaving together Ulsan's 60 years of industrial growth and the thousand-year legend of Cheoyong into one deep story. The lineup includes the Ulsan Citizens' Festival, where residents themselves are the real stars; the "Ulsan U-Culture Festival," featuring enthusiastic performances by local university clubs; a variety of future-tech experiences using AI; and a giant junk-art robot photo zone that will serve as the festival's landmark. There are programs for every generation to join and enjoy together. This year's festival also features special company booths run by five Ulsan-based businesses, set up to connect more closely with citizens and add extra things to see. Rounding it out are carefully selected local food vendors chosen through an open call, refreshing chimaek (chicken and beer), and various food trucks — making it a festival everyone, young and old, can enjoy with all five senses.
