About
The Hwasun Jeokbyeok Culture Festival is a local cultural event held around Hwasun Jeokbyeok (Red Cliffs) and the Iseo Community Center in Iseo-myeon, Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do. The festival showcases the natural scenery and historical-cultural value of Hwasun Jeokbyeok, offering visitors and locals a range of experiences and things to see. Main programs include a walking tour along the Red Cliffs, a GEO Environmental Music Concert highlighting the importance of nature, a wellness program for mind and body healing, hands-on activities run with local public institutions and organizations, and a market selling Hwasun's local specialties. There will also be an exhibition and awards ceremony for a youth writing contest, along with resident-led programs organized by groups such as the Iseo Women's Association and the Living Improvement Association. Free shuttle buses will run throughout the festival, which is expected to draw around 5,000 visitors, including guests, local residents, and tourists.
