About
The Gwangju Kimchi Festival, representing Korea's kimchi culture, marks its 33rd year and will be held this year from October 23 to 25 at the Gwangju City Hall complex in Gwangju. Held in Gwangju, the city that has preserved the tradition and value of kimchi, the festival brings together kimchi's past, present, and future — from traditional kimjang (kimchi-making) culture to new kimchi content.
