Jangaein Culture & Arts Festival A+ Festival

The 2026 Disability Arts and Culture Festival "A+ Festival" is a cultural event where artists with and without disabilities, along with citizens, connect and come together through art. Under the theme "Shining Brightly: Tales from a Planet of Stars," it portrays how people with their own unique personalities and talents connect and harmonize through art — much like different stars gathering to form a single beautiful constellation. The festival aims to spotlight the creative work and artistic capabilities of artists with disabilities, and to build an environment where everyone, regardless of disability, can equally enjoy culture and the arts. To this end, it features performances across genres such as music, dance, and theater, exhibitions showcasing works by artists with disabilities, and hands-on programs for citizens to join directly. Collaborative stages bringing together artists with and without disabilities expand artistic exchange and give citizens the chance to experience diverse forms of artistic expression and values. Running from October 16 to 18, 2026, at Magok Plaza in Seoul's Gangseo-gu, the festival creates a space for cultural and artistic exchange where people can understand each other's differences and share the values of diversity and coexistence through art.
